The energetic, yet charismatic preaching style of Reverend G. Lamar Stewart has allowed him to travel the United States as an evangelist preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At age 28, God has given him the awesome responsibility to articulate out of his mouth the only Gospel that has the power to save. Reverend G. Lamar Stewart is the Pastor/Teacher of the historic Taylor Memorial Baptist Church, in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Reverend Stewart is the younger of two sons of his mother Shelly Stewart. Reverend Stewart was ordained and is submitted under the spiritual guidance of Pastor Alyn E. Waller of the Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Reverend Stewart started his education as an Animal Science major at Walter Biddle Saul High School of Agricultural Sciences. After finishing his high school studies, Reverend Stewart enlisted into the United States Army, where he served as a Combat Arms Troop and Human Resources Supervisor. Reverend Stewart is a graduate of the United States Army Chaplain Center and School in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. During his military tenure, Reverend Stewart deployed (a total of 20 months); in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has been awarded numerous Army Achievement and Commendation medals and other ribbons for military excellence. He was Honorably Discharged from the Army in November of 2007. Reverend Stewart also serves as a Real Estate Advisor and Regional Manager for Ironstone Strategic Capital Partners.
God has afforded Reverend Stewart the opportunity to preach the Gospel on many platforms to Youth, Young and Seasoned Adults. He is encouraged to be able to speak to them, being tried by the same pressures, powers, and principalities that test them daily. He articulates a strong declaration that presents to people the only resolve to the issues of today, being Jesus Christ the Lord.
